I'm generating time sequenced nutrient maps of vegetation in an area in Alaska. Although im using a web server to provide the interface, the code does not need a web server to operate. It's simply php, some unix tools and ImageMagick.

Darrell Blodgett
Reindeer Research Program
fndsb@uaf.eduAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4741970181714760187.post-20127606168058400302008-06-02T12:47:00.000+01:002008-06-02T12:47:00.000+01:00Hi Rich,Please contact me on bjorn@thematicmapping...Hi Rich,

Please contact me on bjorn@thematicmapping.org

It's correct that my approach requires a web server (which could be offline).Bjørn Sandvikhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16080335362672606377noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4741970181714760187.post-7060431480936883412008-06-02T12:20:00.000+01:002008-06-02T12:20:00.000+01:00Hi Bjorn, wanted to email you to discuss your work ...Hi Bjorn,

wanted to email you to discuss your work but couldn't find a link. We've been doing some thematic map development for GE in a humanitarian context but with an emphasis on offline delivery.

http://googleearthdesign.blogspot.com/2008/05/tmapper-thematic-mapping-tool.html

I think your approach is more sophisticated but difficult to deliver offline.

Would be interested to discuss your work with you.

RichRich Treveshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00074610839485450953noreply@blogger.com
